Semi's/ Finals

Chris Smith burnt a head gasket which damaged the block and was unable to make 2nd round giving Steve Wiley a competition bye into the finals and Don Wootten also broke something on his car as well giving Doug a competition bye into the finals. A decision was made to run the semi's as the finals and Doug Riesterer won with 4.189 at 167 mph and Steve blew the tires off at the hit and coasts thru with a 5.812 at 90 mph for the runner-up finish.

Congratulations to Doug Riesterer and his crew for their victory and also to Steve Wiley and the Texas Grim Reaper crew for their runner up.
