This was a great CLOSE race. When I got down to the other end they weren't sure who won. The '41 "TBH" Willys is coming around nicely and Heath seems to be getting his bugs worked out too.

Frankie has tried to win the $3,000 bounty money that TXR has put up for over 3 years and they could never run a 3 anything at TXR. They have run a 4.000 before but never got that 3. After Wes and the "WWW" crew took the $3,000 bounty money earlier this year, the pressure was off and even though they didn't win $3,000 extra dollars; they did win $1,000 that Cindi put up at the last minute. The Taylor Boys said Thanks Cindi!! Howard Brown filled in for a wounded Clyde Scott.

Chuck was going for the upset win and he got it courtesy of the Texas Grim Reaper hitting the cone. I'm not sure what happened to Chuck cuz we had just got back to the trailer but he had a front row seat to the squirly Grim Reaper. Chuck Poindexter filled in for a wounded Randall Reid.

Gorman left first but couldn't hold off the '63 Vette as Slick flew past him to take the win.

Chuck was DANGEROUSLY close to a foul start but that wasn't enough to old off the HEMI power of the Taylor boys. Looks like Paul was shooting for the other $1,000 that Cindi put up for 190+ mph.

Frankie tried to repeat his earlier runs but the car wiggled right and then wiggled left and Frankie wisely aborted the run.
