Outlaw Top Sportsman Rules 2010
Race Rules:
- 4.70 Index
- Doorslammer only (working doors)
- 4 Tenths Pro Tree
- NHRA Pro Ladder. All non-members must run a 5.20 or quicker to qualify.
- If you run quicker than a 4.70 you will go behind the slowest car trying to qualify.
- Two qualifying passes, one in each lane.
- If there are at least 15 cars, the track may choose to run a 16 car field.
- Safety rules reflect same as NHRA/IHRA Top Sportsman class.
- $100 Entry Fee (Car-Driver, and 3 Crew)
- Racer closest to 4.70 each round gets lane choice.
- Courtesy Staging enforced: If the 1st racer puts both stage lights on, the other car may: A) Wait until the racer is backed out of the beams or, B) Go ahead and stage.
- No Deep-Staging is allowed
Membership:
- Membership Fee $100 (Annual)
- To become a member you must be able to run a 5.20 or quicker
- $100 will be retained from non-members winnings for membership dues.
- Must have an NHRA/IHRA Competition License.
Payout:
$ 1000 Win
$ 800 Runner up
$ 400 Semi
$ 250 Qtrs
*1/8ths= $150. (16 car field)
$75 DNQ
- In the Final Round only: If both drivers agree, they may run HEADS-UP, NO-BREAKOUT .
